MS2 is one of the branches of the Museum of Art in Lodz. It is located in a former cotton mill plants Izrael Poznanski in "Manufaktura". The exhibition focuses on works from the twentieth and twenty-first century. The collection comprises she works on paintings, sculptures and spatial objects, drawings, graphics, photography, video and installation. It is the largest and oldest museum collection of modern art in this part of Europe. Many of the works in the collection are gifts of artists, collectors and heirs. It includes the most outstanding representatives of avant-garde works of the twentieth century and contemporary art. The building has space for workshops and other educational activities and media room, serving, among others, to carry out lectures and film screenings. On the ground floor unit arranged space for temporary exhibitions - moving mainly deals with issues of avant-garde heritage.
