Zoological Garden is located in the district of Prague-West Street Town Hall. Its grand opening was held in 1928. To this day, its surface has tripled, as the volume of collected specimens. The biggest attraction at the zoo to be a modern elephant, which is inhabited by four African elephants. Besides, visitors can see there unique species of birds in an aviary, or different specimens of reptiles inhabiting the modern reptile. Famous and popular zoo residents are also two lowland gorillas and nine chimpanzees ordinary. Paddocks for the animals can be found both in the open air and inside the building. Aquarium building is still preserved from 1928, and there are marine and freshwater fish. The great attraction for children is a fabulous zoo, where younger visitors can independently feed the animals in the care of employees. Warsaw Zoo is open from 9: 00-18: 00. Normal ticket costs 20 zlotys, and reduced 15 gold.
